New Castle Refractories produces a wide variety of standard sizes, special-shapes, and specialty refractories to meet the unique requirements of industrial users. New Castle has provided innovative solutions to the refractory/ceramic problems in such diverse industries as steel mills, whitewares, ferrous and nonferrous foundries, heat-treating, primary aluminum and wear-resistant applications.

New Castle manufactures insulating firebrick. We also specialize in short run, quality products, in a wide variety of materials including nitride bonded silicon carbide, silicon carbide, aluminum oxides, clay graphites, cordierite, sillmanite, mullite, and fireclay. Extremely complex parts can be produced by our experienced people. Undercuts, hollow shapes, thin slabs and specially extruded shapes are all part of our repertoire.

At New Castle, we are committed to producing what you need, when you need it, in any quantity. And the diversity of our operations illustrates the extent of this commitment. For prototypes or infrequent orders of small quantities, New Castle offers products produced by slip-casting, vibcasting and hand ramming. These methods eliminate high tooling costs and allow for design development without expensive retooling. If you require higher volumes and low piece prices, then pressing, jolting, or extrusion processes can satisfy your need for ten to over ten thousand pieces per day. Through diversity of material, flexibility of process, and extensive technical support, New Castle can satisfy virtually any refractory need.
