This eight page pocket-size pamphlet discusses crystalline silica: what it is, where it is found; who might be exposed; and, what can be done to prevent overexposures. It is not intended to be the only reference used when working with crystalline silica, but rather only one of a number of resources both employers and employees can use to understand this common industrial material, minimize exposures, reduce risk, and prevent disease.
Payment must accompany order from companies who are not members of The Refractories Institute. Only member companies can be invoiced. Payment for foreign orders must be in U.S. funds, drawn on a U.S. bank. Print order form, complete and remit payment to The Refractories Institute.
