A technical introduction to the refractories industry for the nontechnical person, this publication covers all basic types of refractory applications and includes isometric drawings, a bibliography, and a glossary. It is helpful for employee orientation and providing technical data to employees and customers (50 pages).

Payment must accompany order from companies who are not members of The Refractories Institute. Only member companies can be invoiced. Payment for foreign orders must be in U.S. funds, drawn on a U.S. bank. Contact the TRI office if you would like to order this publication.
